Digital News Report – A Texas man says he saw the mythical Chupacabra (see video below). The Chupacabra has allegedly been spotted in the United States, Mexico, Latin America and Puerto Rico, where it was first reported.
While picking-up golf balls at the Runaway Bay Golf Course, Rocky Vincent says he saw one of the mythical creatures. He saw a dead animal lying on its back off the driving-range.
“It was like a shaved weenie dog, with raccoon feet, a possum tail and a possum head,” Vincent told the KENS5 CBS affiliate in San Antonio. “[The Chupacabra had] been inbred way too many times or something.”
The animal didn’t look like any other animal. It didn’t have hair but it did have claws. “But it looks like it’s got some sort of skin condition – mange” John Ward, Ft. Worth zoo expert, said after seeing the picture. “Looks a little swollen, and it doesn’t have a lick of hair on it.”
Another course employee, Cody Caraway, said “If you look at the claws on it and the feet, there’s nothing like it… I’ve never seen anything like it.”
Chupacabra literal means “goat sucker” in Spanish because it was originally seen sucking the blood of goats and other livestock. It was allegedly seen in 1990 in Puerto Rico but there are reports as far north as Maine and as far south as Chile.
It has been reported to be the size of a small bear. Early reports say it had spines reaching from the neck to the base of the tail.
Most experts believe it to be a legend.
