Apple has introduced the Macbook Air that is, “engineered to standards that don’t even exist yet.” It boasts a durable aluminum body enclosure, an ultra thin 13.3 inch backlit LED display, and advanced NVIDIA integrated graphics that are great for gameplay. Most importantly, it’s the most environmentally friendly computers to date.
The Macbook Air consumes the least amount of power of any Mac and in addition to the highly recyclable aluminum enclosure it comes with a mercury-free LCD display with arsenic-free glass, PVC-free internal cables, and largely recyclable, low-volume packaging. It also has arsenic free glass and BFR-free internal components. It has met ENERGY STAR requirements and received a Silver rating from EPEAT.
The new Macbook Air starts at $1799.
