Digital News Report- Television on Christmas day will, of course, be filled with reruns of old favorites and airing of great holiday classics. We hope that this guide will help you and your whole family decide what to watch while the ham is roasting in the oven and the children are busy playing with their new toys on the living room floor.
ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas will conclude on Christmas day with The Incredibles and Cars back to back starting at 6:00pm. This is perfect for the little ones who may be exhausted from the day and entertaining enough for the adults to not be bored out of their minds. Christmas Eve will be filled with a Holiday Classics Marathon followed by How the Grinch Stole Christmas at 8:00pm.
TBS will be airing A Christmas Story marathon all day. So if you like this movie, just tune in at any time. Seriously, it’ll be playing all day. They’ll even air it a few times on Christmas Eve in case you just can’t wait for it.
The ABC network will also be airing the Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade. So if you want to see what Christmas is like in Florida, tune in.
Discovery will be having an all day Mythbusters marathon. Sure, not every episode will be Christmas themed (they do have a few holiday specials), but who wouldn’t want to spend Christmas laughing at Jamie and Adam?
FX will also be joining the “show the same thing all day” camp by showing Ice Age 2: The Meltdown all the way until 9:00pm when it will switch over to Home Alone.
As always, check your local listings. Times may vary according to your location. Merry Christmas.
