Digital News Report- Hundreds have joined the search effort to find an 8-year old Sandra Cantu, who went missing from Tracy, CA on Friday, but so far there has been no clues to indicate what happened to her. The Carole Sund/Carrington Foundation has offered a $5000 reward for information that leads to the return of the girl alongside $2000 being offered by the Tracy Police Department. The FBI has also stepped in after a massive search on Sunday didn’t deliver any results.
“She went to her friend’s house to color and play,” said Sandra’s aunt, Angie Chavez, 41. After briefly returning home, she “then left to see another friend and just never came home.”
Sandra is 4 feet tall and weighs 45 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a pink Hello Kitty T-shirt and black leggings. She attends Jacobson Elementary School and lives at the Orchard Estates Mobile Home Park on West Clover Road in Tracy. Family members insist that she had a good relationship with her family and wouldn’t have run away from home.
