Teddy Pendergrass R&B singer passed away at a hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania after suffering from a long illness.
His family said his illness was related to a car accident form 1982 according to Lisa Barbaris, who said she is a close friend and his most recent publicist. Pendergrass has three children.
Pendergrass is best known for love ballads, “Turn Off the Lights” and “Love TKO.” Pendergrass had been working on a documentary of his music career called, “I Am Who I Am.”
