Digital News Report – The Arizona Cardinals scored first, but they were still trounced by the New Orleans Saints. We expected a defensive game, but in the end the Saints beat the Cardinals convincingly.
There was a notable 44-yard flea-flicker to Devery Henderson for a score. Reggie Bush’s running was an inspiration for the Saints while Drew Brees passed for 247 yards and three touchdowns.
The Saints scored touchdowns on five of their six first-half possessions. The score at halftime was 14-35. The game was over at halftime while the Cardinals failed to score in the second half.
Colts / Ravens Half-time Update: The Colts scored two touchdowns in the 2nd quarter to end the half at 17 -3. Colts had 221 yards to the Ravens 140 yards. The Ravens are hurting offensively. The Colt defense is playing great.
