Digital News Report – The 2010 Daytona 500 got underway today at 1:19pm. A crash in the 8th lap prompted a caution and another wreck in lap 63 brought on the second caution.
If you are interested in watching the race online it may not be available legally. Fox Sports says they will update photos of the race online. Some websites say it is available through Fox Sports, Ustream, Justin.tv, vshare, and Youtube. That would be great if they broadcasted it live online, but they don’t.
There is a way to watch live television on your mobile phone or computer. Sling Media offers a solution. The Slingbox is available online and at Fry’s Electronics.
The Slingbox allows users to view TV “everywhere”. Everywhere means where you have Internet access.
So next time you want to see a streaming race on your laptop or mobile phone, consider the Slingbox.
