Obama’s Government Loan Modification Program Making Home Affordable Event in Anaheim

Digital News Report – A free event for struggling homeowners is being hosted May 11th and May 12th at the Hilton in Anaheim, California from 1 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. each day. The event will give homeowners a chance to meet face to face with their lenders to begin the process of undergoing a home loan modification.

There also will be HUD approved housing counselors at the event that can help offer assistance to see if you can qualify for the loan modification. The event is free.

You need to bring some documents to help assist the lenders in beginning the home loan modification process.

You will need to bring the following documents to the Making Home Affordable Event:

  • Your monthly mortgage statements
  • Other mortgages that you may have on the property
  • Two of your most recent pay stubs or Most recent quarterly profit or loss statement for self-employed individuals.
  • Two of your most recent bank statements.
  • Account balances that you owe on credit cards and other debts you pay each month.
  • An estimate how much you pay in bills each month such as insurance, medical bills, utilities, etc.
