Digital News Report – Even people with bad credit can qualify for cards that have low interest rates. Credit experts stress that even a good credit score will guarantee approval for any credit card offer, but nearly everyone may qualify for a secured credit card.
Secured or pre-paid cards are designed for people with credit issues and those looking to establish credit. Typically FICO scores / credit scores are used to determine the credit worthiness of a borrower, but income can play a role as well. But with secured cards, this is less an issue.
There are numerous credit card offers. The First PREMIER® Bank Classic Credit Card was designed for bad credit borrowers. According to Credit.com, this card is available to fair to bad credit customers.
There are other card options available including the Aventium® Classic Credit Card, the Centennial® Classic Credit Card, and the Public Savings Bank Secured First Visa® Card.
Some cards may have a credit range below $599. Customers with poor credit may qualify for low interest (below 20 %) cards.
