Digital News Report – A recent survey found that people who use cash-back credit cards save money when compared to people who pay cash. So why use cash or a non-reward credit card when paying for your purchases?
Not all rewards and cash-back cards are the same. Some card companies will offer airline miles while others offer cash discounts for using their card. So which one is right for you? Here are two offerings.
Capital One® No Hassle CashSM Rewards
The Capital One No Hassle Cash Rewards card pays you to use it. They offer two percent cash back on all gas and grocery purchases. Plus they offer one percent on all other purchases.
Here is some more good news. There is no limit on the amount you can earn and the bonuses never expire. You can redeem your rewards in the form of cash, check or gift card.
There is no annual fee and they are applying a zero percent introductory APR until July 2011.
Discover® Open Road Card
The Discover® Open Road Card offers two percent cash back on all gas station and restaurant purchases. There is a one percent cashback bonus on all other purchases. Plus they offer up to 20 percent cahsback on certain internet purchases.
Discover is also offering a zero percent intro APR and zero percent rate on all balance transfers for 12 months.
