Digital News Report – Credit scores have become very important today when applying for a credit card or other form of loan. A few years ago banks were making offers to everyone, even borrowers with a bad credit history. That has changed.
Credit card issuers have become more discriminating. Credit cards are still important for online purchases, renting cars and reserving hotel rooms. But there is a solution.
The Public Savings Bank Secured First Visa® Card is designed for people with poor or bad credit scores. The bank is also offering this secured credit card for people with no credit history.
The card can also help users improve their credit score. The bank reports payments to the three credit reporting bureaus. This means that on-time payments can help improve a credit score. Also, for customers without a credit history, the card can help develop one.
The card has no annual or monthly fees. There is no interest charged on purchases made within the first six months. After that the interest rate is only 11.24%.
The lack of a fee and the low interest rate make the card relatively appealing to many customers.
