The overall average this week was one basis point higher than last week to 14.35%. The average includes all sorts of cards.
Low Interest Rate Cards
The Capital One® VentureSM Rewards Credit Card is one of the best cards for customers with excellent credit. Their rate starts at 11.9% up to 19.9%. The Chase SapphireSM Card is another card for customers with excellent credit. Their rate starts at 13.24% and is variable.
The average Business card had a rate of 13.33% today, up one basis point from last week.
Business Cards
The Capital One® Venture for Business Visa has a starting rate of 13.9%. The Chase Ink CashSM Business – $100 Bonus Cash Back Card is another great card with interest rates starting at 13.24%.
The average Balance Transfer card had a rate of 12.59% this week. The SlateSM from Chase is a great card for Balance Transfer. After the introductory zero percent APR, the rate is variable starting at 11.24%.
The Capital One® Platinum Prestige Credit Card is another great card with rates starting at 10.9%.
Bad Credit History
This week the average rate for bad credit customers was 16.38%. The Capital One® Secured MasterCard® is one card available for 22.9% APR. The Orchard Bank Classic MasterCards had a starting rate of 7.9%.
Rewards Cards
The Chase Freedom® Visa – $150 Bonus Cash Back has a rate of 11.99% but offers up to 5% cash back on rotating quarterly basis in categories like gas, home improvement and department stores, subject to quarterly enrollment and maximum.
The Capital One® No Hassle CashSM Rewards Credit Card is a good credit card for gas purchases. Users can save 2% cash back on gas and groceries.
