Digital News Report – Macy’s department store has announced a President’s Day Sale going on now through February 21, 2011. They have announced special extra discounts on many items for this weekend and you can get free shipping on orders totaling $99 or more at their website. To get the extra discounts online you enter “PRESIDENT” for the promotional coupon code during checkout.
Presidents Day sales are a great time to get rock bottom prices and deals on winter clearance items. The department stores need to make room for the spring fashions. So if you are looking for a bargain on clothing, this is good time to go shopping.
Macy’s promotion for this President’s Day Sale is an extra 15 percent off on regular, sale, and clearance prices on many items but some brands are not included in the sale. They are also offering an extra 10 percent off on home, sale watches, fine jewelry, shoes, coats, suits, dresses, swim, lingerie, men’s suit separates & sport coats. You don’t get the extra discount on Everyday Values, jewelry specials, Jewelry Super Buys, Macy’s web busters, or other specials. There are several brands that are not included in the sale.
You can find winter peacoats for juniors selling between $20.99 to $28.99. There are several puffer jackets selling for around $14.99 for juniors. Women’s winter jackets have some extra discounts of 10 percent off on top of the already discounted items. You can get a quilted coat for $49.99 and get an extra 10 percent off of that with the coupon code. On select denim you can get an extra $10 off during the Presidents Day sale at Macy’s. Macy’s is offering discounts up to 80 percent off regular price during this discount and clearance sale.
Housewares are also on sale too. There are some clearance items such as knife sets and holiday themed baking and cooking items. They have many other general kitchen items on sale with extra discounts being offered throughout.
Macy’s is advertising a special mattress and furniture financing offer of 24 month no-interest if paid off in full. A person also has to qualify for their store credit financing in order to get the financing offer. If you order a mattress online you can enter the coupon code of “MATTRESSES” to get free shipping. The free shipping on mattresses is going on for the rest of 2011.
Make sure if you don’t have a Macy’s card to get print your shopping pass at macys.com. That way you can get the extra 10 and 15 percent off on the selected items when you go shopping at their retail store.
