Digital News Report – There are several health insurance companies and policies available in Chicago Illinois.
United Health One, Celtic, Aetna and Humana all offer health insurance policies in the Chicago area. A 31-year old male that doesn’t smoke can get an insurance policy starting at $58.
The Celtic Basic PPO 70/30 Plan has office visits for a $30 copay. There is 30 percent co-insurance and a $7,500 deductible.
The United Health One Copay Select 70 – 10000 had a monthly premium of $75. This plan offered $35 office visits after the deductible, 30% coinsurance and a $2,500 deductible.
The Aetna MC OA High Deductible 5000 (HSA Compatible) plan had a monthly premium of $125. Office visits were free after the deductible was met. There was zero percent co-insurance and a $5,000 deductible.
The Humana Enhanced HSA/5000 plan had premiums of only $77. This plan also had a zero charge for office visits after the deductible was met. There was zero percent coinsurance and $5,000 deductible.
All of the above plans are PPOs.
