Digital News Report – Glenn Beck says he will be ending his daily program on the Fox News Channel (FNC) but has worked out an agreement with News Corp to provide other television projects.
In a statement, Beck says he has the third highest rated show in all of cable news. Roger Ailes called Beck a true success and he looks forward to working with the commentator.
Besides creating a top rated news show, Beck has also written best selling books. “Arguing with Idiots” hit #1 on the New York Times Bestseller List in four separate categories in 2010. His libertarian / conservative views provided a clear alternative to the main stream media (MSM).
But there have been controversies. In January the Jewish Funds for Justice criticized Beck for what they called inappropriate references to the Holocaust and Nazis. They called for his firing. In February he was criticized for his comments concerning reform Rabbis.
According to a Market Watch article in August 2009, the Glenn Beck Show lost high end advertisers like Geico, Sargento Pizza and Procter & Gamble after calling President Barack Obama racist.

I wondered when the FCC would crack down on Fox for rocking the polictal boat. Beck and Venture are probably closer to the truth than any of you know. Sadly we live in a land full of Sheepeople that can’t see their doom in front of them. Sad Epitaph for a once freer country, but alas, it was never really free to begin with.
