Anthem Blue Cross just went through a shakeup to insure that all of their policies are compliant with Health Care Reform (Obamacare).
The monthly premium could be as low as $60 per month. The Blue Cross ClearProtection Plus 5000 offers $5,000 deductible with a $40 copay for the first two office visits.
There is a 40% co-insurance. This is the amount the insured is responsible for after the deductible is met. The annual out-of-pocket is $8,500. After the out-of-pocket and deductible is met, the insured does not have to pay anything.
The Healthnet Optimum Advantage HSA NG $4,500 deductible has premiums of $83. The plan includes a $4,500 deductible with free office visits after the deductible is met. This is a good plan because the deductible is the out-of-pocket.
