The music video makes fun of all the publicity stunts that Lady Gaga does with her outrageous fashions. Weird Al explained on his blog, that he directed the ‘Perform this Way’ music video. The body wasn’t him for the majority of the music video, which he gives credit to the women who helped out in the music video on his blog. The ‘Perform this Way’ music video can be viewed below.
‘Perform this Way’ is just one song from his newly released album ‘Alpocalypse.’ Other songs on the album include ‘Party in the CIA’ which is a parody of Miley Cyrus’ ‘Party in the USA.’ Another song called ‘TMZ’ which is a parody of Taylor Swifts’ ‘You Belong with Me’ song. Other songs included on the album are ‘Polka Face,’ ‘CNR,’ ‘Skipper Dan,’ ‘Craigslist,’ ‘Ringtone,’ ‘Another Tattoo,’ ‘If That Isn’t Love,’ ‘Whatever you Like,’ and ‘Stop Forwarding that Crap to Me.’ The vinyl version of the album will be out sometime in July. The official Alpocalypse Tour will start in July.
Weird Al Yankovic has been very busy. He also has authored a New York Times bestselling children’s book called ‘When I Grow Up.’ Check out the YouTube video below of the story. It is funny even for an adult.
