Digital News Report – Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) announced a new fulfillment center in Plainfield, Indiana that they plan to open this year. The 900,000 square-foot location will be needing hundreds of full-time and seasonal employees. Amazon is seeking applications for these job openings, because the facility should be completed this summer.
Additionally, Dave Clark, vice president, Amazon North American Operations, said that they are hiring hundreds to work at two new Indiana locations. The Plainfield location is Amazon’s fourth fulfillment center in the state. The other three locations are in Whitestown, Plainfield, and recently opened facility in Indianapolis.
Amazon is looking to hire full-time hourly jobs in Picking, Packing and Receiving/Shipping. There are also management careers in Operations, Safety, Human Resources, and Technical Support.
