Digital News Report – Best Buy launched their 4-day Labor Day sale that is going on this weekend. The sale begins on Friday, September 2, 2011 and last until Monday, September 5, 2011. The sale includes laptops, HDTV, tablets, digital cameras, DVD players and recorders, and much more.
Major Home Appliances on Sale
Best Buy is offering 15 – 25 percent off on a selection of their major appliances. Samsun major appliances are 30 – 35 percent off a selection of the units. LG Appliance will have big discounts on a selection of their major appliances.
Additionally, there is free delivery on major appliances priced over $429. Best Buy is offering no interest financing for 18 months if it is paid off before the promotional period for qualifying customers. The appliance purchase has to be over $429 to qualify for the financing offer.
Small Appliances
Vacuum cleaners and floor care products are on sale with discounts of $10 – $80. The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser HEPA Bagless Upright Vaccuum is on sale for only $99.99 which is a $50 savings off of regular price.
Frigidaire 0.9 cubic feet microwave oven in black is on sale for $49.99 (reg. prices $79.99).
Laptop Deals
If you are looking for a cheap laptop, Best Buy has a Acer 14” laptop on sale for only $239.99. This pricing is competitive with the netbook pricing, but you get a larger display. This offer is only available online and are while supplies are available.
The LG 21.5 inch LED monitor is on sale for $149, which is a $40 savings.
Computer Printers and Accessories
There is a selection of printers on sale. The Epson – WorkForce 635 is a wireless all-in-one Printer that scans and photo copies and is on sale for $89.99 (reg price $199.99). If you buy the HP Officejet Pro 8500A wireless all-in-one printer, you pay $179.99 (which is a savings of $120) and you will also get a $50 Best Buy Gift card for free that you can use on your next purchase. The Kodak ESP 7250 Wireless All-in-One Printer is on sale for $119.98 (savings of $90) plus you will get extra bundle of ink.

If you are looking for a super cheap DVD player, Best Buy will discount the Dynex DVD player $5 during this sale and will sell it for only $24.99.

Best Buy will be discounting a selection of digital cameras with deals ranging from $50 to $130 off of regular price. These discounts are online only, but you can get free shipping with the digital cameras. The brands that are featured are Sony Cyber-shot, Samsung, Nikon, Fuji Film FinePix and Insignia. Prices start as low as $29.99 for the Insignia 10 Megapixel digital camera. You can also get a free 8×8 photo book with these cameras.
The Canon T3i DSLR camera will have an offer of a free 4GB memory card bundle during the sale. The Sony NEX Compact System Camera will also have the 4GB memory card bundle offer.
Digital camcorders are also on sale this weekend. A selection of Panasonic brand camcorders will be on sale this weekend. You can save $75 – $100 off the price of the camcorder during this sale.
You can also buy 4GB, 8 GB, and 16 GB SanDisk memory cards on sale with discounts between $10 – $20 off. The 16 GB SD card is on sale for $29.99.
