Digital News Report – Hotels.com announced today that they have expanded their coverage areas for their WelcomeRewards Loyalty Program. Members of the program can earn a free night’s stay after booking ten paid nights.
The Hotels.com welcomerewards program now has over 60 countries with 65,000 hotels to pick from for the free night stay. Previously there was only 36,000 hotels to pick from. The welcomrewards loyalty program was launched in 2008.
Additionally, Hotels.com had made it possible for members to redeem two free night’s stay consecutively, so long as they have earned enough rewards. Expiration of rewards has also changed.
If a member continues to be active every 12 months in qualifying activities for the program, they will be able to continue to earn free nights stays. Each free night stay has a value of up to $400. Each qualifying purchase will extend the previously earned credits along with the new credit for an additional twelve months. The loyalty credits will not expire.
