Digital News Report – Frontier Airlines is having a Winter Travel Savings Sale for discount airfare for travel in the 48 contiguous states. The tickets have to be purchased by 11:59 p.m. E.T. on November 10, 2011 and travel must be purchased with a 21-day advance of the travel date and happen before March 7, 2012.
The flights are advertised as one-way. There is no required round-trip purchase. There are extra taxes and fees that are not included in the advertised airplane ticket price. The seats are limited and can sell out. Some flights may connect through Denver.
There are blackout dates for this sale. These blackout dates are on November 27 and December 22, 23 and 26, 27, 30, 2011 and January 1, 2, 3 and February 17 and 20, 2012 apply. Travel between Denver and Florida locations have additional blackout dates of November 26, December 17, 28-29, 2011 and January 7, 2012.
