Digital News Report – It might not be the most traditional, but it can save money and paper to send free Christmas ecards. There are several places that are offering a free holiday greeting to be sent to a person via email and by other methods such as Facebook. Here are some of them.
Gone are the days of sending the ecard by email only. Now you can send it to a person on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networking sites.
American Idol is offering free holiday greetings at www.idolholidaycard.com. At this website you can pick your favorite theme and then upload a photo of yourself or use a Facebook photo. The message can then be personalized with a greeting and then send the holiday cheer out via email, Facebook, Twitter or other social media websites. There is also a way to print out the greeting card.
American Greetings has a Free Santa Baby ecard that is sponsored by Huggies Diapers. There are several Free PICs & Wishes ecards one can be found at http://www.americangreetings.com/ecards/pnw-online-greeting/christmas/3273040.
Hallmark has a free basic design of “On a Snowy Night” available. There is also “Holiday Joy,” “Joyful Holidays.” There are several more designs but you have to browse through a few pages under the Christmas section to find the free online holiday greeting ecards.
There are several other free ecard websites, however, you should be careful to check out if they are safe and what their privacy rules are in regards to sharing information. That would not be so cool if you send an ecard to somebody and you and your receiver both start to receive a pile of junk email.
