Digital News Report- Actress Natasha Richardson, wife of actor Liam Neeson, has been hospitalized after a ski accident at a Quebec resort, according to a spokesperson for the actress. Richardson apparently fell during a lesson on a beginner’s course at Station Mont Tremblant. Her and Neeson’s two sons were with her at the time of the accident.
The ski instructor who accompanied Richardson stated that, “She did not show any visible sign of injury, but [I] brought her back to the bottom of the slope and insisted she should see a doctor.”
The accident apparently occurred in the middle of the slope far away from trees, skiers, or other obstacles. Though spokespersons for the resort have described the fall as ordinary and not violent, the New York Post has declared that the Tony-Award winning actress is brain dead. No official confirmation of the actresses condition has been released, though she reportedly suffered from a headache hours after the accident and was rushed to the hospital.
