Digital News Report – Sears has been advertising major appliances as a focal point for their department store this fall and they have launched a Veteren’s Day Sale that has specific major appliances with large discounts available. There is also a great sale of winter coats, and mattresses going on at Sears this 3-day holiday weekend. If customers use their sears card they can earn an extra 5 percent in store rewards.
Using coupon code ‘REALJOY’ between November 10 through November 12, 2011, will get online shoppers at the Sears’ website a 15 percent discount on many products. There are exclusions on some items such as juniors clothing, perfume, makeup, shoes, and other items. Sears coupon code of ‘REALJOY’ will also get free shipping on orders over $99 through December 19, 2011. The coupon code is entered during checkout. The items have to be ordered from Sears and not a Marketplace seller to qualify for the sales total.
Major Appliances on Sale
Sears is offering 20-50 percent off on Red Tagged appliances. Kenmore brand appliances are up to 25 percent off. All other brands of appliances are up to 15 percent off. Below is just a few of the many discounted major appliances. There is also more models that have been discounted.
Refrigerators
Sears has marked down several models. A Whirlpool 25 cu. Ft. side-by-side with a stainless steel finish and an indoor ice-maker is on sale for $889 (reg. $1299). The Frigidaire Gallery White or Black finish side-by-side 26 cu. Ft. refrigerator is only $789. The higher end LG 24.7 cu. Ft. French-Door stainless steel finish with two drawers below is on sale for $1289 (reg. $2399). The 29 cu. Ft. Samsung French Door refrigerator with stainless steel with only one freezer drawer on bottom is on sale for $1598 (reg. $2699). The Samsung 28 cu. Ft French door stainless finish refrigerator with double drawers is on sale for $1798 (reg. $2999).

Sears Kenmore brand White or Black finished Electric range is on sale for $499.99 (reg. $919.99). For $599.99 (reg. $1049.99) Kemores electric range in stainless is on sale. The Samsung Stainless finish with black accents is on sale for $698 (reg. $1099.99). The Samsung stainless finish gas range is on sale for $898 (reg. $1199).
Washers and Dryers
If you buy the Kenmore brand 3.6 cu. Ft. HE washer and the matching dryer, they are $399.99 each (reg. $704.99). The gas dryers are more expensive for all of the dryers than listed in the advertisement. The same offer of buying both the washer and dryer is for offered for the Samsung 4.3 cu. Ft. PowerFoam washer and dryer are $799.99 each (reg. $1599.99). The Samsung 4.7 cu. Ft. PowerFoam and steam dryers are $699.99 each (reg $1099.99). The LG 3.7 cu. Ft. front load washer and matching dryer is $499.99 each (reg. $799.99). Just remember, it has to be the matching washer and dryer, which both must be purchased to get the sale price and the gas dryers cost more.
Dishwashers
The Frigidaire Gallery Stainless finish dishwasher is on sale for $378 (reg. $549) or get the white finish for $348 (reg. $449). The Samsung Stainless finish dishwasher is on sale for $498 (reg. $699). The Bosch dishwasher SHE43R56UC is on sale for $594 (reg. $699.99).
Fitness Equipment and Sporting Goods on Sale
There are sales on treadmills and fitness equipment at Sears. There is also a sale on bicycles and other outdoor sporting equipment. Basketball hoops are on sale. Also there are markdowns on their pool billiard tables.
Clothing
Sears is advertising a 15 percent additional discount with the coupon code ‘REALJOY’ on many clothing items except for juniors. The winter coats are discounted 50 percent off during this Veteran’s Day sale. Children and Babies holiday outfits are on sale. Women can get 30 percent off on the Kardashian Kollection clothing line.
Mattress Sale
Sears is having a big Veteran’s Day Sale for Matressess. The mattress sale offers savings up to 60 percent off. Additionally, if the mattress sale is $499 or more, there is an extra 10 percent off all mattresses and foundations. Sears is also offering free delivery and haul away of the old mattress. The exclusion of the extra 10 percent off are on Sealy Union, Sealy Legato, Sealy Kamela, Serta Gazelle, Serta Mojave Rose, Serta Audry, Serta iComfort, Sears-O-Pedic Treasures, Nickelodeon mattresses, and crib mattresses.
There is special no interest financing when using a Sear Credit card on mattress purchases that are $499 or more. The time duration varies and is for qualifying customers. No interest is charged so long as the balance is paid in full before the promotional period ends and they have made on time payments of the minimum.
