Digital News Report – Sears will be opening their store doors at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. They will offer sales online that start on Wednesday and go through Friday at 3 p.m. CT. The savings online are good, but the best deals for Black Friday will be at their stores. Doorbuster deals will be offered at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, and another round of doorbusters will be offered at 4 a.m. on Black Friday.
In the newspaper ad circular, a coupon will get $10 off any $40 purchase of clothing intimates, sleepwear, accessories, fragrance, and cosmetics. Use the code ‘BLACKFRIDAY’ online to get this discount. The other option is to get $15 in points (15,000 points) with the purchase of $40 or more in the same categories. If you want the points, use code ‘CSOS1122’ online.
Sears reward members who use their Sears MasterCard for payment may have also received coupons in the mail for $5 off $50 of tool purchases, 25% off of all Kenmore Floor Care products. $10 off a $40 clothing, accessories, intimates, sleepwear, fragrance and cosmetics, and $20 of a $75 pruchase of clothing, accessories, intimates, sleepwear, fragrance, and cosmetics.
Rewards card members can earn $10 (10,000 points) when you spend $50 or more on qualifying purchases. In addition, rewards members who use their Sears Mastercard for payment can earn an extra 5 percent in points for qualifying purchases.
Sears Doorbuster Deals for 2012
Sears Thanksgiving Day doorbusters (between 8 pm through Friday at 1 pm) include electronics, clothing, and appliances. Sears is offering a 32” HDTV for only $97. A Proscan DVD player is only $9.99. 2 ct. tw. Of diamond jewelry is $99.99 each piece.
The Kenmore brand refrigerator with a freezer drawer on bottom is only $1,299. A Kenmore Elite washer and Steam Dryer are $649.99 each which is a savings of $760.
Winter coats for men and misses and juniors are only $19.99 each. NordicTrack ¼ zip fleece pullover is only $9.99.
A Craftsman 18-Volt drill/driver is on sale for $29.99, which is discounted 50 percent.

Conclusion
These are just a sampling of the many items that are advertised in the Sears newspaper ad circular. The best thing to do is to get a copy of today’s newspaper and circle the items that interest you. Then make a list, I like to use a spreadsheet and divide the items by department. Then I would search the more expensive items for price, especially electronics to make sure it is worth buying it now for the savings. In addition, I make sure to have my coupons ready and clipped and put in my purse so that I will not misplace them. That way I have an organized way to approach the shopping trip.
