Digital News Report – Digital Ally has announced record revenue for the fourth quarter of 2009. The company, which manufactures video surveillance products which are sold primarily to law enforcement and private companies, reports they had revenue of $9.2 million.
The unaudited results show a 37 percent increase over the $6.7 million during the previous year’s fourth quarter. The best quarter ever recorded by the company ended June 30th 2008 with $8.9 million. That was until now.
The company says they for the year they have had a revenue of $26.3 million. That is down from $32.6 million in 2008.
Law enforcement contracts, including contracts with homeland security, helped boost the fourth quarter sales and revenue.
