Digital News Report – Transformers star Megan Fox has been chosen to be the Armani underwear model for 2010. Fox, who is replacing Victoria Beckham, will appear in ads on billboards and in magazines.
Her body sold Armani. “Megan is young and sexy and has a lot of spirit,” Giorgio Armani told People. “Both Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans are all about a youthful attitude, making her the perfect choice for the collections.”
Her tattoos were digitally removed. The company didn’t think upper-class customers who pay $50 a pair would want to see tattoos. One tattoo on her back shoulder says “We will all laugh at gilded butterflies.” That is a quote from Shakespeare’s King Lear.

I disagree with the decision to remove her tattoos. They represent who she is, and the public knows that. Without them, its just another case of inappropriate Photoshop work. Disappointing, but good for Ms. Fox for the new gig.
In my humble opinion as a tattoo artist, maybe if she had more well done tattoos they wouldn’t be so quick to photoshop them out. As it stands her tattoos don’t flatter her body, but rather detract from it.
