Digital News Report – Frontier Airlines announced the launch of five new destinations coming out of their Denver and Milwaukee hubs. The new services are in response for the increased demand the airline company has seen which was 7 percent in seat miles this year which makes it the fastest growing major airline in the US.
The new flights from Denver International Airport (DEN) are to Louisville International Airport (SDF) and Green Bay’s Austin-Straubel International Airport (GRB) starting on April 19th. On April 20th flights will begin Branson Airport (BKG). There will be seasonal service from Milwaukee’s General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and to San Diego International Airport (SAN) starting on April 19th.
In addition to the new destinations, Frontier will be adding a third daily nonstop flight from Denver and New York (LGA).
Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. have also announced Midwest Airlines and Frontier will be combined under the Frontier Airlines brand. Midwest will continue to integrate with Frontier over the next several months and up to a year and a half.
