Amazon.com has Free Kindle for PC software – New Features and Updates Available

Digital News Report – Amazon.com Inc. have announced that they have new features available for their free “Kindle for PC” software application which allows people that want to purchase and read eBooks on their computer from Amazon.com. The company added features to the free “Kindle for PC” ebook reader computer program.

New Features in the Free Amazon ebook Reader Software – Kindle for PC

  • Edit notes and marks in the ebook
  • Full Screen reading mode
  • Change the background color
  • Change the brightness of the computer screen

    • All of Kindle apps work together using Amazon’s Whispersync technology. This will synch the notes, highlights, bookmarks, or the last page read between other Kindle apps, including the Kindle ebook Reader, Kindle DX ebook reader, the iPod touch, iPad, PC, Mac, and Blackberry mobile phone. Amazon announced that they will soon have a Kindle app for the Android mobile phones too.
