Digital News Reports – The incredible competition among banks for credit card customers is prompting more competition in the rewards and cash-back credit card business. Some cards provide airline miles while others help pay for gas and groceries.
So which card is right for you? Only you can determine that, but there are some new offerings to choose from.
Capital One® VentureSM Rewards Credit
The Capital One® VentureSM Rewards Credit Card pays customers for using their card. The company will pay 2 airline miles per dollar on every purchase. They will also give new customers 10,000 bonus miles when they spend $1,000 in your first 3 months.
The Capital One card is only for borrowers with “excellent” credit. Cardholders are treated like royalty with complimentary concierge service and special travel upgrades.
The first annual fee is waived but the card will set you back $59 a year after that. The interest rate is 13.90 percent (APR).
Chase FreedomSM Visa
The Chase FreedomSM Visa – $100 Bonus Cash Back pays people for using their card. They offer 5% cash back on gas, home improvement and department store purchases. Other purchases are eligible for one percent cash back.
As an incentive, the Chase card offers a $100 Bonus Cash-Back after you make $799 in purchases in your first three months. As an added bonus, use the card online with certain merchants and receive 20 percent cash back.
You don’t need “excellent” credit to get this card. All you need is “good” credit to qualify. There is no annual fee and the interest rate is only 12.99 percent (APR).
