Digital News Report – July was a good month for Cadillac car sales with 14,919 new vehicles being sold last month. This was the best sales month that the Cadillac brand had since August 2008.
Cadillac SRX car sales were increased by 783 percent in July since it was originally introduced in 2003; this is an eightfold increase. The July 2010 car sales totals for the SRX was the best sales month they have ever seen for this model. The SRX has a new design for the 2010 model year, which could be helping boost sales. Around half of the SRX car sales are having competitor vehicle trade-ins.
The CTS car sales were at the best results for this year. In July, there was 5,516 of the CTS cars sold. This is an 132 percent increase from the same month one year ago. It is also the best sales month the CTS model had since August of 2008. In July Cadillac began shipping the 2011 CTS Coupe. There are also CTS Sport Sedan and CTS Sport Wagon models to chose from.
Cadillac Escalade model car sales also increased by 22 percent in July, with 2,209 new cars sold.
