Digital News Report – Verizon announced that they have had a major redesign of their Verizon Games service portal and desktop application with their partner Exent. There are over 1,500 games for PC users to access with their paid subscription video games-on-demand service. Exent redesigned how Verizon Game Service portal interacts when browsing for games.
New customers can get a 14-day free trial, but on the Verizon Games website they advertise a 7-day free trial. You can access all the games during the trial period, and you can cancel your subscription at any time.
The new video games app also has a community program on at their games.verizon.com website that will let the users create an avatar and have their own profile. They can customize their own 3D animated Verizon Game Lounge were they can display their virtual items and trophies they have accumulated with games they played with the service.
If you are looking for free games from Verizon, they have another website http://www.freeridegames.com/ which is free to use but there are advertisements on the website.
