Digital News Report – The winning numbers for the Powerball lottery were 4-10-11-19-33 and 27. The random Powerplay number for the March 26th game was 4. There were no jackpot winners but there were more than one million other winners.
It was a big weekend for lotteries. The current jackpot is expected to hit $153 million for Wednesday’s drawing. Lottery officials say that there was nearly $14 million distributed among more than 1 million non-jackpot ticket-holders.
In Florida there were 122,020 Powerball winners and 27,395 Powerplay winners. In New York there were 75,735 Powerball winners and 5,276 Powerplay winners. In Texas there were 29,216 and 8,265 Powerplay winners.
Powerplay costs an extra dollar but can multiply your winnings by the Powerplay number chosen before the balls are drawn.
There were 12 tickets matching five of the balls with to in Powerplay. There were over half a million $3.00 winners. See the chart below for details.
